Campiña Grande, Estado Paraiba, Brasil.- En la continuacion de las actividades calendario del presente año la Liga Nacional de Judo (LNJ) realizo el Campeonato Brasileiro Regional Nordeste en esta ciudad del Estado de Paraiba la que es considerada como una de los principales centros de industria, tecnologia y educativos de esta region.
El evento, organizado por la Liga Confederada de Judo de Paraiba, conto con la presencia 
del profesor Galileu Galileo quien fue el mentor principal de la creacion de la Liga Nacional de Judo entidad que ahora preside Marcos Barbosa Junior.
El certamen atletico conocido como el de mayor nivel tecnico del nordeste en el ambito de las Ligas de Judo reunio delegaciones de los estados de Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe, Maranhao, Ceara, Piaui y Paraiba, entre otros.
La Liga Pernabucana de Judo, LIPEJU, logro el primer lugar de la justa producto de 60 medallas de oro, 30 de plata y 25 de bronce acumulando 115 preseas seguido en segundo lugar por la delegacion de Paraiba, LICOPAJU, con 16 preseas doradas, 5 de plata y 9 de bronce para sumar 30 medallas.
La tercea posicion correspondio a la delegacion de LIDAN con 13 medallas de oro, 9 de 
plata y 7 de bronce totalizando 29 preseas en el evento donde participaron 7 diferentes delegaciones y compitiendo 260 atletas.
Las delegaciones participantes se sintieron sumamente confortables en esta ciudad que fue fundada el 1 de diciembre de 1697 y que ahora tiene una poblacion estimada de cerca del millon de personas colocandose en la mas poblada del estado solo detras de la capiatal Joao Pessoa.
La Liga Nacional de Judo es miembro de pleno derecho de la Union Panamericana de Judo (UPJ) y de la World Judo Federation (WJF) y se rige bajo las normas tecnicas de estas entidades continental y mundial, respectivamente.

Campiña Grande, Paraíba State, Brazil. – Continuing with this year’s calendar of activities, the National Judo League (LNJ) held the Northeast Regional Brazilian Championship in this city in the state of Paraíba, considered one of the main centers of industry, technology, and education in the region.
The event, organized by the Confederated Judo League of Paraíba, was attended by Professor Galileu Galileo, who was the main mentor in the 
creation of the National Judo League, an entity now chaired by Marcos Barbosa Junior.
The athletic competition, known as the highest technical level in the northeast within the scope of Judo Leagues, brought together delegations from the states of Pernambuco, Alagoas, Sergipe, Maranhão, Ceara, Piaui, and Paraíba, among others.
The Pernabucan Judo League (LIPEJU) took first place in the competition with 60 gold medals, 30 silver medals, and 25 bronze medals, accumulating 115 medals. Licopaju, the Paraíba delegation, took second place with 16 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 9 bronze medals, totaling 30 medals.
The Lidan delegation took third place with 13 gold medals, 9 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals, totaling 29 medals. Seven different delegations participated, with 260 athletes 
competing.
The participating delegations felt extremely comfortable in this city, which was founded on December 1, 1697, and now has an estimated population of nearly one million people, making it the most populous city in the state, behind only the capital, Joao Pessoa.
The National Judo League is a full member of the Panamerican Judo Union (PJU) and the World Judo Federation (WJF) and is governed by the technical standards of these continental and world organizations, respectively.
