What’s up in 2023?    /    ¿Qué pasa en 2023?
2023 Will be an Exciting Year for the Sport for All Movement!

Featuring global events, new projects and historic moments, 2023 will be an eventful Sport for All year filled with opportunities for the global Sport for All Movement to gather and work together to  use Sport for All as a tool to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and create a better world; in the spirit of TAFISA Mission 2030. We have selected a few key highlights as a teaser of what’s to come – don’t miss out on all these opportunities!

Save the date – 28th TAFISA World Congress!

Join us for the 28th TAFISA World Congress in Düsseldorf, Germany, on 30 October – 5 November 2023, along with over 500 delegates from 80 countries. The Congress will serve as the main platform for the Global Sport for All Movement to meet, connect, share experiences and knowledge, and work together under the them of «Sport for All: More Together than Ever”. The Congress will also feature the TAFISA General Assembly, on 3 November.

This year will also see the launch of a new project led by TAFISA and co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission: INTERACT+ builds upon the INTERACT project, its recommendations, outputs, and the identified ISO’s (International and European Sport Organisations) needs and expectations. The project will encompass the development of a new Sport for All delivery model and the creation of a knowledge and experience-sharing platform between ISOs and their National Federations.
Don’t miss out on opportunities to host our flagship event!

TAFISA has opened the bidding for the following events:

TAFISA events are more than typical sport events. By combining the impact of Sport for All and physical activity with the involvement of local communities, hosts ensure a long-term legacy to the event and position themselves as international and local leaders of the global Sport for All Movement.

Members of the Global Sport for All Movement are invited to apply or share these opportunities within their network.
