DÍA MUNDIAL DEL DESAFÍO TAFISA 2024
San Pedro de Macorís, Republica Dominicana.- Este 29 de mayo 2024 la World Judo Federation (WJF), participo activamente en la realización del Dia Mundial del Desafío actividad esta que es una iniciativa global impulsada por la Asociación Internacional de Deporte para Todos como entidad rectora que es reconocida por sus siglas en el idioma ingles de Tafisa y que tiene un amplio respaldo de la Asociación Internacional de Deporte y Cultura (ISCA) y de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (Unesco).
Siguiendo esas directrices la Federación Dominicana de Deportes para Todos, Fedodet, que preside el profesor Joaquín Albizu, cada año el ultimo miércoles del mes de mayo, se realiza una larga caminata en esta ciudad de la región este de la Republica Dominicana donde participan alumnos de diferentes entidades educativas, organizaciones deportivas, culturales, castrenses, militares y policiales, publico en general, entre otras.
En este momento diferentes organizaciones buscan ampliar los temas sobre los conceptos de la actividad física recreativa y la utilitaria con el fin de evitar el sedentarismo por medio del movimiento constante como caminar, correr y montar bicicleta.
La actividad inicio en el Liceo Gastón Fernando Deligne realizando una caminata que concluyo en la parte frontal de la Catedral de San Pedro Apóstol.
Luego de escucharse el himno nacional hizo uso de la palabra el profesor Joaquín Albizu quien dio la bienvenida en el acto a la gran cantidad de personas congregadas en la actividad que promueve la actividad física como forma de combatir el sedentarismo.
Luego la palabra fue entregada al ingeniero Jaime Casanova Martínez en su condición de presidente de la World Judo Federation, entidad que es Miembro Internacional de Tafisa, quien agradeció la invitación a la caminata del Dia Mundial del Desafío a la vez resalto lo significativo del evento de nombradía internacional.
El cierre del certamen multidisciplinario estuvo a cargo del arquitecto Reymundo Gantier quien es presidente de la Unión Deportiva de la provincia de San Pedro de Macorís, Udepema, al momento de resaltar los catorce años consecutivos que la Fedodet se identifica, organiza y celebra el Dia Mundial del Desafío.
Y es que el Dia Mundial del Desafío tuvo sus inicios en la ciudad de Saskatoon, Canadá, donde el invierno de 1983 fue extremadamente frío y para mejorar la interacción entre las personas y aumentar la temperatura del cuerpo mientras se ejercitaban, el alcalde sugirió que todos salieran a caminar por lo que al año siguiente, la ciudad vecina se sumó a la iniciativa, creándose así la esencia del Dia del Desafío.
Notorio durante toda el desarrollo de la actividad el compañerismo, saludos, abrazos y un compartir deportivo en la actitud que primo en los participantes tanto de estudiantes de diferentes escuelas y liceos, atletas, entrenadores, autoridades civiles y militares y dirigentes deportivos al momento de entrega de los diplomas de participación a los diferentes organizaciones que dijeron presente en el evento que fue conducido magistralmente teniendo como soporte los acordes de dos bandas de música de los cuerpos castrenses de la ciudad llamada Sultana del Este.

Following these guidelines, the Dominican Sports for All Federation, Fedodet, chaired by Professor Joaquín Albizu, every year on the last Wednesday of the month of May, a long walk is held in this city in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic where students from different educational entities, sports, cultural, military, military and police organizations, the general public, among others.
At this time, different organizations are seeking to expand the topics on the concepts of recreational and utilitarian physical activity in order to avoid a sedentary lifestyle through constant movement such as walking, running and cycling.
The activity began at the Gastón Fernando Deligne High School with a walk that ended in front of the Cathedral of San Pedro Apóstol.
After listening to the national anthem, Professor Joaquín Albizu spoke and welcomed the large number of people gathered for the activity that promotes physical activity as a way to combat sedentary lifestyle.

The closing of the multidisciplinary contest was led by architect Reymundo Gantier who is president of the Sports Union of the province of San Pedro de Macorís, Udepema, when highlighting the fourteen consecutive years that Fedodet identifies, organizes and celebrates World Day of the Challenge.
And World Challenge Day had its beginnings in the city of Saskatoon, Canada, where the winter of 1983 was extremely cold and to improve interaction between people and increase body temperature while exercising, the mayor suggested that everyone They went out for a walk, so the following year, the neighboring city joined the initiative, thus creating the essence of Challenge Day.
