Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- Within the framework of the Congress and General Assembly of the International Association of Sports for All, Tafisa, held in Seoul, Korea on November 16, 2917 the World Judo Federation was a signatory of the Mission Tafisa 2030.

The World Judo Federation as an International Member of Tafisa was represented on the occasion already referred by its first vice-president, Dr. Paul G. Hoglund.
The document in question was endorsed by more than 40 countries including Australia, Botswasa, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mongolia, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Dominican Republic, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Tanzania, Trinidad & Tobago and Turkey, among others.
As martial arts sports signed the document World Jiu Jitsu Confederation, Russian Union of Martial Arts, World Judo Federation and the International Sambo Federation (FIAS).
TAFISA’s Mission 2030 is gaining momentum as more organisations and institutions join in and adopt its principles.
A total of 57 organisations worldwide endorse TAFISA’s Mission 2030, including National Olympic Committees, International Federations, Sport for All associations and government agencies among others. The number of allies joining the global Sport for All Movement to work together in tackling today’s global challenges is increasing everyday and all TAFISA members, partners, stakeholders and supporters are encouraged to further spread the word and raise awareness on the importance of uniting together to combat the global epidemic of physical inactivity.
