Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- The World Judo Federation (WJF) joined the celebration this April 19, 2024 to World Fair Play Day as a promotion of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in what is the protection of athletes in their training and competitions.
We can make a little history because since 2014, in April of each year, the anti-doping community around the world gathers to celebrate Fair Play Day, which is dedicated to sport and raising awareness among athletes, the sporting public, sports organizations and other people about the importance of preventing doping to ensure a long athletic life for athletes.
The inspiration for Play True Day comes from an Education Conference organized by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in 2013, attended by 17 Latin American countries.
As in previous years, athletes, national and regional anti-doping organizations, sports federations, governments, major event organizers and other anti-doping stakeholders from around the world are invited to join the campaign.
