December is upon us and 2023 is coming to a close. Thank you for making 2022 such an activeand memorable year. With your support, TAFISA has been able to thrive and develop in so many different directions.
2022 saw the growth of Global Sport for All Movement and once again showed that we are stronger together. Our membership base has grown and our visibility has improved. We have built our successes on all continents, working together with our members to pursue our efforts in Europe and Asia and to reach out to Africa, the Americas and Oceania, developing new partnerships with exciting projects and opportunities. We have stayed in touch with our members and partners through webinars, online meetings and virtual conferences, continuing our efforts to keep the Global Sport for All Movement united and connected.
But most importantly, 2022 marked – finally – the return of in-person Sport for All events, after 2 hard years passed online due to Covid-19. I would like to congratulate and thank all of our members for their tireless work to activate citizens and growing stronger out of the challenges brought by the pandemic. From a TAFISA point of view, the 27th TAFISA World Congress in Portoroz, Slovenia successfully gathered over 300 participants representing 173 organisations across 54 countries worldwide under the theme of «Sport for All in a Changing World”. Our General Assembly elected a new TAFISA Board of Directors. The 2nd TAFISA European Sport for All Games took place in Perugia, Italy, and successfully brought together many delegations from Europe and beyond to promote their Traditional Sports and Games and culture. Finally, the ASFAA Congress, organised in Busan, Korea, gathered the Asian members of ASFAA and TAFISA where the declaration of net-zero walking action was adopted. My heartfelt gratitude goes to the hosts and Organising Committees of those various events, which tackled the challenge hands on.
I am incredibly proud and humbled to be with the leadership team of such a great organisation, would like to thank current and past TAFISA Board Members for their volunteer engagement, and look forward ever-so-much to what 2023 and the future will bring. The 28th TAFISA World Congress to take place in Düsseldorf, Germany from 30 October to 5 November will be once again an excellent opportunity to unite our Sport for All family.

Diciembre está sobre nosotros y 2023 se acerca. Gracias por hacer de 2022 un año tan activo y memorable. Con su apoyo, TAFISA ha podido prosperar y desarrollarse en muchas direcciones diferentes.
2022 vio el crecimiento del Movimiento Global Sport for All y una vez más mostró que somos más fuertes juntos. Nuestra base de miembros ha crecido y nuestra visibilidad ha mejorado. Hemos construido nuestros éxitos en todos los continentes, trabajando junto con nuestros miembros para continuar nuestros esfuerzos en Europa y Asia y llegar a África, las Américas y Oceanía, desarrollando nuevas asociaciones con proyectos y oportunidades emocionantes. Nos hemos mantenido en contacto con nuestros miembros y socios a través de seminarios web, reuniones en línea y conferencias virtuales, continuando nuestros esfuerzos para mantener el Movimiento Global Sport for All unido y conectado.
Pero lo más importante, 2022 marcó, finalmente, el regreso de los eventos presenciales de Deporte para Todos, después de 2 duros años en línea debido a Covid-19. Me gustaría felicitar y agradecer a todos nuestros miembros por su incansable trabajo para activar a los ciudadanos y fortalecerlos frente a los desafíos que trajo la pandemia. Desde el punto de vista de TAFISA, el 27º Congreso Mundial de TAFISA en Portoroz, Eslovenia, reunió con éxito a más de 300 participantes que representaban a 173 organizaciones en 54 países de todo el mundo bajo el lema «Deporte para todos en un mundo cambiante». Nuestra Asamblea General eligió una nueva Junta de TAFISA de Directores. El segundo Deporte Europeo para Todos de TAFISA tuvo lugar en Perugia, Italia, y reunió con éxito a muchas delegaciones de Europa y más allá para promover sus Deportes y Juegos Tradicionales y su cultura. Finalmente, el Congreso ASFAA, organizado en Busan, Corea, reunió a los miembros asiáticos de ASFAA y TAFISA donde se adoptó la declaración de acción neta cero para caminar. Mi más sincero agradecimiento a los anfitriones y comités organizadores de esos diversos eventos, que abordaron el desafío de manera práctica.
Estoy increíblemente orgulloso y honrado de estar con el equipo de liderazgo de una gran organización, me gustaría agradecer a los miembros actuales y pasados de la junta de TAFISA por su compromiso voluntario, y espero con ansias lo que traerá el 2023 y el futuro. El 28º Congreso Mundial TAFISA que tendrá lugar en Düsseldorf, Alemania, del 30 de octubre al 5 de noviembre, será una vez más una excelente oportunidad para unir a nuestra familia Sport for All.
