Dear TAFISA members, Dear participants in the 7th TAFISA World Sport for All Games, Lisbon 2021
The Covid-19 pandemic is still among us and the current situation the world is facing makes it necessary for the Organising Committee of the 7th TAFISA World Sport for All Games, Lisbon 2021 to restrucure the event (rather than posptoning again) – in alignment with the pandemic guidelines of the Portuguese Government that are in force and with the approval of the TAFISA Board of Directors.
The dates remain the same from the 18th to the 24th of June, but the event will be a virtual event, exclusively online in streaming and broadcast to the whole world.
While this brings us new challenges, the health and safety of all participants comes first. This new format will allow for broader virtual participation from all over the world and with no registered delegations/organizations to physically attend the World Games. For that reason please do not make any flight bookings.
To participate, all you need to do is to express your interest, demonstrate your sports and games in your own country and send us videos, interviews and photos of your performances of traditional games, emerging sports or cultural activities that you want to see spread around the world during the Games’ program.The confirmation of participation must be sent by e-mail tafisalisboa@tafisalisboa.com until may 6.
More Information and guidelines will be sent to you soon on the formats of the various media admitted for broadcasting. We call for your collaboration and participation in this new online festival and innovative TAFISA event model, so that it is possible to show the world your countries, cultures and sports.

La pandemia de Covid-19 todavía está entre nosotros y la situación actual a la que se enfrenta el mundo hace necesario que el Comité Organizador del 7 ° TAFISA World Sport for All Games, Lisboa 2021, reestructure el evento (en lugar de posponerlo nuevamente), en alineación con las directrices pandémicas del Gobierno portugués que se encuentren en vigor y con la aprobación del Consejo de Administración de TAFISA.
