Tafisa recognizes participation in the World Judo Federation on World Walking Day 2022
Dear Participant of TAFISA World Walking Day – 24 Hours Around the Globe,
Sunday, 2nd October, we all walked, cycled, skated, swam and had fun being physically active in a global relay from east to west. Thanks to all of you, we have received outstanding videos and photos from every corner of the world, representing 88 countries!
Please find enclosed a Certificate of Participation for your perusal. The amount of quality contributions this year is outstanding, and we are currently processing the several hundreds of videos and contributions we have received as part of the event. We will do our utmost to promote them and share them with the world. Stay tuned for more news to come!
World Walking Day – 24 Hours Around the Globe 2022 is over, but we’re not done being active this year.
In the spirit and of the event, TAFISA has partnered up with Catwalk, a global 7km outdoor walk designed to raise awareness about nature protection and demonstrating that our wellbeing is interconnected by highlighting the conservation challenges of the 7 Big Cats. It is open to everyone of all ages, races, gender and abilities and can be achieved in the way that best suits you.
We encourage you all to join Catwalk on 5th November 2022, as individuals, social or organised groups, and organisations from anywhere in the world! Please register your participation at: https://catmosphere.org/catwalk/ and check out the resources here on how you can show your support to the big cat(s) of your choice by walking and then share and post on social media your photos and videos carrying Catwalk placards and hashtags #catwalk2022.
