Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana.- Este 2 de septiembre se cumplen 25 años de la formación del Comité Internacional de los Juegos de las Artes Marciales, 1999 – 2024, y en consecuencia el presidente de la entidad el Gran Maestro RI Yong Son envió un documento de felicitación a quienes formamos parte de esa entidad como es el caso de la World Judo Federation (WJF) que es miembro de pleno derecho.
La IMGC fue fundada en Buenos Aires, Argentina un 2 de septiembre 1999 por iniciativa de su primer presidente Choi Hong Hi con la presencia de 19 países contándose entre ellos Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Burkina-Faso, Cambodia, Canada, Croatia, DPR Korea, Ireland, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Paraguay, Russia, Scotland, Spain, United States, Turkey and Zimbabwe).
La World Judo Federation se une en regocijo a esta celebración de las Artes Marciales a nivel mundial.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.- This September 2 marks 25 years since the formation of the International Committee of the Martial Arts Games, 1999 – 2024, and consequently the president of the entity, Grand Master RI Yong Son, sent a congratulatory document to those of us who are part of that entity, such as the World Judo Federation (WJF), which is a full member.
The IMGC was founded in Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 2, 1999 on the initiative of its first president Choi Hong Hi with the presence of 19 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Burkina-Faso, Cambodia, Canada, Croatia, DPR Korea, Ireland, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Paraguay, Russia, Scotland, Spain, United States, Turkey and Zimbabwe.
The World Judo Federation joins in rejoicing in this celebration of Martial Arts worldwide.

Dear Madams and Sirs,
I, on behalf of the International Martial Art Games Committee (IMGC),
would like to send my warm greetings to all of you on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the IMGC.
The establishment of the IMGC on Sep. 2, 1999 was a significant milestone to declare a new start of the International Martial Art Movement.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to all of you who has been leading together the sound development of global martial art under the ideal of “Friendship, Cooperation, Development” by overcoming all difficulties and challenges.
As we cannot think about the IMGC’s today without your active support and encouragement, I, as President of the IMGC, will do my best to build the sound martial art world hand in hand with all of you.

Estimados señores y señoras:
En nombre del Comité Internacional de Juegos de Artes Marciales (IMGC), quiero enviarles un cálido saludo con motivo del 25.º aniversario de la fundación del IMGC.
La creación del IMGC el 2 de septiembre de 1999 fue un hito importante para declarar un nuevo comienzo del Movimiento Internacional de Artes Marciales.
Quiero expresar mi sincero agradecimiento a todos ustedes que han liderado juntos el sólido desarrollo de las artes marciales globales bajo el ideal de “Amistad, Cooperación, Desarrollo” superando todas las dificultades y desafíos.
Como no podemos pensar en el IMGC hoy sin su apoyo y aliento activos, yo, como Presidente del IMGC, haré todo lo posible para construir un sólido mundo de las artes marciales de la mano de todos ustedes.
